REBATES & PROMOTIONS
Taking advantage of rebates and promotions is one of the smartest ways to save money and get the best prices on photo gear and everything you need.
If you have recently checked our GEAR section, you might have noticed that Canon is offering INSTANT rebates on most of their best lenses and also some DSLR cameras & kits.
This promotion ends on July 10th.
It’s a great opportunity to buy what you are needing!
LIST OF LENSES WITH REBATES
Below we publish a complete List of Canon lenses with instant rebate available.
If you are looking for 3rd party lenses, or even for other brands of cameras like Olympus and Sony, there is ALSO a promotion! In that case please check them here.
Lot of these lenses are a “must have” and give the highest possible image quality.
SUGGESTIONS:
- Don’t miss them, and don’t wait until last moment to buy. Lenses with rebates often get out of stock lot before the promotion ends!
- If you buy an expensive lens, we recommend to consider buying an extended protection plan of 3 or 5 years. It is worth the extra money.
CANON EF ZOOM LENSES
Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM (non IS version)
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L IS USM (IS version)
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM (non IS version)
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM (latest version, improved Optics and IS)
Note: this lens doesn’t have a rebate available, but we decided to include it in the list because it has an extraordinary performance and image quality. IT IS AMAZING.
CANON EF LENSES
Canon TS-E 90mm f/2.8 Tilt-Shift Lens
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L IS USM Macro
Canon EF 180mm f/3.5 L USM Macro
Note about Macro lenses:
If you’ve been following our reports you already know about the “iris jitter” issue on firmware 2.0.4 on the 5D Mark II that is affecting macro lenses on movie/video mode (check our reports for details).
Don’t worry, we have confirmation that Canon is aware of it and is going to be fixed on the next firmware update.
UPDATE: On May 25th the new Firmware 2.0.7 was released and fixes the “iris jitter” issue. So there’s nothing to worry about now.
